 Turkey boasts a number of good quality ski resorts – eight in all at present:-Uludag, Kartalkaya, Ilgaz, Sarikamis Palandoken, Erciyes, Davraz and Saklikent. In February 2008 Saklikent Ski Centre was named as one of the top ski resorts in Turkey by the newspaper “Hurriyet”, together with tourism agents. The ski season runs from December – April and its two ski slopes are rates with difficulty levels of easy and medium. During the spring you can combine a day of skiing in the mountains in the mornings with swimming in the clear blue blue-flagged sea in the afternoons. Distance from Antalya to Saklikent: 45 kilometres. |
