Turkey, with its rich natural resources and hundreds of rivers, provides great opportunities for water sports like rafting, canoeing and water-skiing.
The most famous is the River Coruh, renowned internationally as one of the fastest flowing in the world.
Unknown to many, Turkey has some of the best water bodies to pursue river rafting, both for professionals and amateurs, the experienced and those first-timers.

Image Rafting requires that you navigate a river, usually comprising of rapids and steep bends, atop a rubber boat.
Turkey has on offer both rivers with treacherous courses and gently floating rivers.

Northeast of Antalya is the scenic route that leads to the Koprulu Canyon National Park.
The twisting road crisscrosses over mountain streams and passes through virgin forests. It is often a slow drive as the view at every turn is more beautiful than the last. The park, 92km from Antalya, is a valley of wild beauty rich in flora and fauna. The canyon stretches for 14 km along the Kopru River and is 400 meters deep in some places.
