Cost Of Living

Image The cost of living in Turkey is extremely low compared to the high cost of living in Europe – between 30 – 50% lower than the UK.

Fresh produce is especially good value for money and eating out can be very cheap – depending on whether you chose to eat at the typical tourist restaurants or where the locals dine!

Eating out is a wonderful experience with a huge variety  of dishes.  Turkey’s cuisine is ranked as one of the three  best cuisines in the world.

Day-to-day essentials such as other food products other than fresh produce are also very reasonably priced and energy costs are very low too. Why?  Because prices have to be kept at a level the local consumer can afford.

If you have an income from Europe you will find that your money will go a lot further here in Turkey than in Europe and that you can splash out on things you might not have now - like a swimming pool in your back garden! Spoil yourself and take yourself off to a spa visit and have a wellness session. Indulge in a new-me look and re-style yourself for a fraction of the cost it would be in Europe. Enjoy exotic fruits here that you don't always buy at your local supermarket.
Breathe in the exhilarating atmosphere, the costumes, the vibrance of the operas and musicals performed locally and at the amphi-theatre in Aspendos. Tickets for events here in Turkey are extremely reasonable and there's even a coach service to take you there so you can really sit back and relax and take in the views on the way to the performances. You don't have to worry about finding a parking space there once you've arrived!

There are children's programmes most Saturdays during the summer with entrance tickets costing just a couple of pounds (or less)!
